Hace
tiempo que no había preparado ningún postre y esta semana he querido preparar
uno, sencillo como siempre, para iniciar el mes de una manera agradable.
Tenía
en mente varias posibilidades pero al final la falta de tiempo ha declinado la
balanza hacia uno que me parecía el más fácil de preparar y el que menos tardaría
en hacerlo. Y la verdad es que así ha sido, poco coste y muy tranquila su
elaboración que siempre se agradece.
Me
encanta utilizar la fruta en postres elaborados, siempre me han salido bien y
conseguimos unos resultados bastante buenos. Y esta ocasión no ha sido una
excepción, es mas, ha resultado extraordinario.

Ingredientes (para 4 personas) /Ingredients for 4 diners:
4 peras de agua, ½ litro de agua, un vaso de vino
de Málaga, 300 gramos de azúcar, 20 gramos de chocolate, 2 ramas de canela, 1
vaina de vainilla, 4 bolas de helado de vainilla, unas hojitas de menta.

Preparación/Preparation:
Pelamos
las peras y las cortamos por la mitad sin cortar el pedúnculo. Retiramos las
semillas y las sumergimos en agua con unas gotitas de limón hasta que las
utilicemos.

Elaboración/Elaboration:
Ponemos en una cazuela el agua con el azúcar, la canela y la vaina de
vainilla abierta por la mitad. Cocemos
durante 10 minutos.

in a casserole. Cook for 10 minutes.
Retiramos la cazuela del fuego, la tapamos y dejamos infusionar la mezcla
durante 10 minutos más.

Pasado ese tiempo añadimos las peras y el vino de Málaga y cocemos durante
15 minutos a fuego lento. Terminada la cocción tapamos y dejamos enfriar las
peras en el almíbar.

Presentación/Presentation:
Repartimos
las peras en los platos junto con una cucharada del líquido de cocción. Acompañamos
con una bola de helado de vainilla. Espolvoreamos todos con las virutas de
chocolate y adornamos con unas hojitas de menta.
